Cyber Intelligence Analyst Internship

CI2’s Cyber Intelligence Analyst Internship is a 10 – 16 weeks unpaid and remote program designed to immerse students in the fields of cyber intelligence, open-source intelligence collection & analysis, and high-technology computer forensics. Students are classified as a Cyber Intelligence Analyst Intern and work in CI2’s Cyber Operations Division alongside multiple cyber analysts on various cyber-crime investigations, national security issues, advance cyber research, and international cyber operations. CI2 is partnered with and provides actionable intelligence support to multiple federal, state, and local law enforcement entities as well as the United States Intelligence Community and U.S. military. Students will have the opportunity to assist CI2’s cyber analysts in these joint-agency operations and earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits through the internship program. Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded a certificate of completion and may be offered a membership with CI2 as a voluntary Cyber Intelligence Analyst.

 

All students studying IT, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, Criminal Justice and other related fields are eligible and considered; However, it is preferred that students have taken basic cyber-related courses and/or have at least 1-year of experience in the cyber-field. As part of the application process, students agree to undergo a background check and education verification. Upon acceptance into the program, students must agree and sign an Internship Employment Contract/Agreement and a Non-Disclosure Agreement form.

Participants are expected to perform the following duties as a Cyber Intelligence Analyst Intern:

 

  • Technical Research - Collecting information about internet-based criminal activities, physical and cyber terrorism related intel, and the people behind them;

  • Intelligence Analysis - Making predictions about cyber criminals, terrorists, and their future activities based on what is already known about them.

  • The creation of threat intelligence reports that communicate the results of the analyses to people who need to know them (e.g., government decision-makers, security officials, senior corporate officials).

  • Develop and implement standard processes to correlate incident activity.

Minimum Hours Required: 15-20 hours per week.

Marketing and Social Media Internship

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies.

As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing and advertising team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.

This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment.

Location: REMOTE (At Home)

Pay Status: Non Paid Internship

Minimum Hours Required: 10+ a week.

Cyber Programming Internship

CI2’s Cyber Programming Internship is a 10 – 16 weeks unpaid and remote program designed to immerse students in the fields of advance computer programming, application development, project design & management, and high-technology computer forensics. Participants are classified as a Cyber Programming Intern and will be a part of the Programming and Software Development Team within CI2’s Cyber Programming Division. Students will be working on multiple programming projects and will assist with designing and implementing applications used for the collection and analysis of cyber forensics and intelligence. Students will have the opportunity to also assist their cyber analyst counterparts with government and joint-agency projects. Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded a certificate of completion and may be offered a membership with CI2 as a volunteer Cyber Programming Analyst.

 

 All students studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or other related fields are eligible and considered; However, it is preferred that students have taken basic computer programming-related courses and/or have at least 1 year of experience in programming or software development. As part of the application process, students agree to undergo a background check and education verification. Upon acceptance into the program, students must agree and sign an Internship Employment Contract/Agreement and a Non-Disclosure Agreement form.

Participants are expected to perform the following duties as a Cyber Programming Intern:

 

  • Learn how to identify and define parameters to proper Python 3 programming

  • Learn how to use Python 3 libraries (scapy, scrapy, sockets, argparse, os, sys, and many more)

  • Learn how to create, test, and deploy tools for cyber intelligence gathering in a larger data set scale

  • Learn how to create, test, and deploy tools that will collect forensic artifacts

  • Learn how to create, test, and deploy report related tools to save investigative related artifacts collected by analysts

Location: REMOTE (At Home)
