PornHub and Sex-Trafficking

Victims of GirlsDoPorn sex-trafficking operation sued Pornhub for $52 million. The complaint said the videos remained on Pornhub's website and other sites owned by Mindgeek even after the sex-trafficking charges were filed. The women claim that Pornhub failed to take down videos after they pleaded with the company to remove them, and reported the site. Some videos were visible on Pornhub as recently as December 12. Pornhub eventually purged unverified content, or nearly 75 percent of its videos, according to a report by Vice News. Vice said the verified accounts of GirlsDoToys, a joint venture with GirlsDoPorn that featured many of the same women, was still on Pornhub.
